Home Instead Senior Care Wins the Canadian Franchise Association’s Outstanding Corporate Citizen Award for 2016

Congratulations Home Instead Senior Care for winning the Canadian Franchise Association’s Outstanding Corporate Citizen Award for 2016

The winners were announced Monday, April 18th, at the 25th annual Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) National Convention in Ottawa, Ontario. Each year the CFA Recognition Awards has paid tribute to franchisees and entrepreneurs for their achievements and extensive commitment to their philanthropic aspirations. There are thousands of important franchise businesses across Canada that are making an extremely positive impact on the community and Canadian economy.
We are extremely proud and happy to announce that Home Instead Senior Care has been presented with the Outstanding Corporate Citizen Award for 2016. Below is an excerpt from the CFA’s website:

“Every year, Home Instead Senior Care and its community partners enhance the lives of tens of thousands of seniors by celebrating the holidays with Be a Santa to a Senior.
As part of this initiative, franchisees team up with schools, retailers and other community organizations to source, wrap and deliver gifts to underprivileged and isolated seniors nationwide. And it’s not just about the physical gifts given; oftentimes, the greatest gift is the time that volunteers spend with older adults who may not otherwise receive love, attention, cards or gifts at Christmas time.
Since its inception, Be a Santa to a Senior has donated more than 1.2 million gifts across its locations.”
